Anglers of all abilities will enjoy
fishing on our own small lake, or the river Sèvre Nantaise
which flows through our land. For the more dedicated angler,
Pescalis
is only a short drive away and there are a multitude
of other large species lakes nearby.
Photographers and artists will find many subjects in the area,
and for those who have an interest, there is plenty of wildlife
including numerous species of birds, butterflies, moths and
other insects, or you can even visit the local ostrich farm.
We even have our own resident owls!

In this area there are many activities
from walks and cycling in beautiful countryside, golfing,
ice skating, horse riding, canoeing and other watersports,
go-karting, quad-biking, adventure parks, rock-climbing and
also hot air ballooning.
There are a variety of places to visit from Medieval Castles,
Chateaux and historic towns. Only slightly further afield
there is Futuroscope
and the absolutely unique Puy
du Fou.

For those who love to shop, Nantes, Poitiers
and La Rochelle are only a 90 minute drive away and, for those
who wish to spend a long day on a clean sandy beach; the Vendee
coast is an easy drive.
Locally, there are many excellent restaurants, specialising
in regional dishes made from local produce, much of which
can be purchased at the traditional markets and gastronomic
fairs. |
